Obituary of Bowser, Guy Everett
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside surrounded by his loving family & friends on Monday, June 1st , 2009 of Guy Everett Bowser of Summerside and formerly of Dartmouth, N.S., aged 66 years. Guy was born on January 21st , 1943 in Halifax, N.S. to his mother Barbara Bowser-Awalt of Dartmouth, N.S. & his father, the late Everett Bowser.
Beloved husband of Judy ( nee Doucette ) Bowser, loving father of Tim ( Cathy ) of Edmonton, Ab. & Brian of Summerside and grandfather of Nicholas Alexander Guy Bowser. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces & nephews. Survived by his brother & sisters : Marilyn ( Keith ) Baker of Musquodoboit Harbour, N.S., Paul ( Dawn ) of Dartmouth, N.S., Sandra ( Terry ) Fields of Dartmouth, N.S. & Nancy ( Danny ) Burke of Bridgetown, N.S. .
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, June 4th for a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. . Interment to take place in Memorial Gardens, Dartmouth, N.S. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Guy's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday afternoon, from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
