Obituary of Adie, Doris Claire
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside surrounded by her family on Sunday , June 7th, 2009 of Doris Claire Adie ( nee Lefebvre ) of Summerside, P.E.I. , aged 74 years. Doris was born on Dec. 1st, 1934 in Ottawa, Ont., to her late parents Napolean & Clara ( nee Delorme ) Lefebvre.
Beloved wife of Robert Adie & loving mother of Robert (Denise) Paquette of Ottawa, Ont. , Michael (Melek) Paquette of Ottawa, Ont. & Linda Matear of S'side, P.E.I., and grandmother of Ken, Michael, Angela, Jennifer, Melissa & Brandon along with several nieces & nephews. Survived by her sister Muriel (Harry) Toy of Kingston, Ont. & her adopted sister Dot Nickerson of S'side.
Besides her parents, Doris was predeceased by her sisters Grace Lagace & Shirley Lamoureux . By family request there will be no funeral service or visiting hours held.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
