Obituary of Burch, Mary Cora

The death occurred peacefully & surrounded by her loving family & her best friend Joan Fitzgerald at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Sunday, June 21st, 2009 of Mary Cora Burch ( nee MacDonald ) of Summerside and formerly of Richmond, P.E.I., aged 94 years. Mary was born on August 29th , 1914 in Sunnyside, P.E.I. to her late parents Fred & Margaret( nee MacPhee ) MacDonald. Beloved wife of the late Vernon Burch & loving mother of Denise ( William ) Fielder of Richmond & Shirley ( John ) McPhee of New Hampshire, U.S.A. . Also lovingly remembered by her 4 grandchildren : Greg, Amie, Celeste & John Paul, her 8 great grandchildren : Jenna, William, Laney,Richard, Daniel, Bradley, Nicholas & Kacey & her sister-in-law Mary Elwin MacDonald of Summerside. Besides her husband & parents, Mary was predeceased by her son Clair, daughters Deborah & Verna Burch, sisters Hilda Fitzgerald & Helen Roberts & brothers Stephen & Frederick MacDonald. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, June 24th ,2009 then to Immaculate Conception Church, Richmond for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Mary's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
