Obituary of Crossman, Doris Lenora

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Monday, July 27th , 2009 of Doris Lenora Crossman of Summerside and formerly of Central Bedeque,P.E.I., aged 95 years. Doris was born on February 23rd,1914 in Central Bedeque, P.E.I. to her late parents, Saul & Evelyn ( nee Sudsbury ) Crossman. Survived by her brother Weldon Crossman of Central Bedeque and nephews Dale, Thane, Danny & Ronnie Crossman & nieces Eleanor Grass and Gail Taylor. Besides her parents, Doris was predeceased by her brother Jack Crossman, sisters Jennie Buchanan & Etta Lockhart, nieces Dianne Beer & Elizabeth Bowness & nephew Donald Buchanan. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, August 1st , 2009 for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m.. Interment to take place in the United Baptist Cemetery, Central Bedeque. Memorial donations in Doris' memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday evening only , 7 - 9 p.m. .
