Obituary of Perry, Mary " Margaret "

The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday , December 6th, 2009 of Mary 'Margaret' Perry ( nee Poirier ) of Summerside and formerly of Miscouche , aged 95 years. Margaret was born on May 19th , 1914 in St. Nicholas, P.E.I. to her late parents Arsene & Sophie Poirier. Beloved wife of Frank Perry of Summerside and loving mother of Annette ( Fred ) Tardif , Ken ( Rose ) , Don , Gary and David ( Mary ) all of Montreal, Que. and Gil of Nfld. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Julie ( Karl ) Tardif of Montreal, Que., Dann ( Evelyn ) Tardif of New Market, On., Sandra ( Eric ) Anthony of California, U.S.A. & Justine Perry of Nfld., her great-grandchildren Leah, Kess, Joshua, Keighlan, Brooklyn, Luke, Makena & Riley and numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister Theresa Perry of Summerside and her brother Willie Poirier of Miscouche. Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by several brothers & sisters. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, December 12th , then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Following cremation, interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours on Friday , 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Memorial donations in Margaret's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. John the Baptist Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
