Obituary of Cameron, Arnold Joseph
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Monday, March 7th, 2011 of Arnold Joseph Cameron of Summerside and formerly of Miscouche , aged 85 years. Arnold was born on October 22nd , 1925 in Wellington , P.E.I. to his late parents Joseph & Lucy (nee Arsenault) Cameron .
Loving father of Elmer ( Shirley ) of Alberta, Sandra ( Ed Blanchard ) of Summerside, June Jenkins of Summerside, Marjorie of Alberta, Anne of Summerside, Carol ( Doug Rice ) of Summerside, Allen ( Betty-Jean ) of Miscouche, Nancy Myers ( Harry MacSwain ) of Summerside and Marie of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 step grand daughter and several nieces & nephews. Survived by his sister Rose Cameron of Summerside, his brothers Norman of Summerside and Melvin of Borden and a special niece June Cameron.
Besides his parents Arnold was predeceased by his daughter Cathy and his brothers Aldrus, Elmer & George. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, March 10th, then to St. Paul's Church , Summerside for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening only , 7 - 9 p.m.. Memorial donations in Arnold's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
