Obituary of Paugh, Ernest George

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday, February 15th , 2012 of Ernest George Paugh of Freetown, P.E.I. aged 70 years. Ernest was born on August 15th , 1941 in Northam, P.E.I. to his late parents, George and Carrie ( nee Ramsay ) Paugh. Beloved husband of Rosella Gallant and loving father of Rhonda ( Scott ) LeClair of Freetown, Brad ( Mary ) of Searletown, Debbie ( Russell) Banks of Freetown and step-father of Stephen Gallant of Edmonton, AB. and Wanda ( Gary ) Richard of Mont Carmel. Also lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren , 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brother Clifford ( Barb ) of Richmond & sisters Enid MacDonald of Richmond, Helen ( Roy ) Poirier, Edna Coughlin, Jean Yeo all of Summerside and Jean Brissident of Ontario. Besides his parents, Ernest was predeceased by brothers James, Archie and Trueman, sister Margaret Waite and brothers-in-law Allan MacDonald and John Coughlin. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, February 18th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. . Interment to take place in Victoria West United Church Cemetery. Visiting hours on Friday evening only,6 - 9 p.m. . Memorial donations in Ernest's memory to the Victoria West Cemetery Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated .
