Obituary of Cameron, Viola Theresa
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday, March 13th , 2013 of Viola " Vi " Theresa Cameron of Summerside, aged 81 years. Vi was born on September 5th , 1931 in Wellington Centre, P.E.I. to her late parents Sabie and Eileen ( nee Smith ) Cameron.
Beloved wife of Cecil and loving mother of Danny ( Geralda ) of Summerside, Shelley ( John ) Paugh of Summerside and Stephen ( Patty ) of Borden-Carleton. Also lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren : Kelly, Dawna, Kenny, Pamela, Marisa, Teresa, Sheldon, Kyle, Kayla and Keshia , her one great-grandchild Emily and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers Pius ( Elinor ) Cameron of Kentville, N.S. and Louis of Tyne Valley, her sister Sarah ( John ) Bryson of Trenton, ON and her sister-in-law Norma Cameron of Miscouche.
Besides her parents, Vi was predeceased by her daughter Pamela in infancy and the following brothers and sisters : Emmett Cameron, Hilda ( Ron ) McNeill, Beatrice ( Richard ) Deighan and Justin Cameron and sister-in-law Lilianne Cameron.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, March 16th , then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m.. Interment to take place at a later date in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, Wellington. Memorial donations in Vi's memory to the Alzheimer Society of P.E.I. would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday evening only , 6 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
