Obituary of Simpson, Mary Judith " Judy "
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, May 25th , 2013 of Mary Judith " Judy " Simpson ( nee Doucette ) of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 65 years. Judy was born on July 26th , 1947 in Summerside, P.E.I. to her late parents Wilfred and Angie ( nee DeCoste ) Doucette.
Beloved wife of Claude Simpson. Survived by her brother Gus ( Donna ) Doucette of Summerside and her sisters Carol ( David ) Parker of Slemon Park , Donna ( Tony ) Yantha of Clinton and Elaine Miousse of St. Bruno, QC.. Also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, May 30th for a funeral service at the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place at St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors. Visiting hours on Wednesday , 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. . Memorial donations in Judy's memory to the Funeral Expense Fund would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
