Obituary of Gallant, Robert George

The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, September 21st, 2013 of Robert George Gallant of Summerside and formerly of Elmsdale, P.E.I., aged 84 years. Robert was born on November 30th, 1928 in Elmsdale, P.E.I. to his late parents George and Rose ( nee Collins ) Gallant. Loving father to Bobby of Linkletter, Rose ( Brent ) of Halifax, N.S., Donald of Montague, David ( Kim ) and Donna Gallant all of Linkletter and their mother Shirley Gallant. Also lovingly remembered by 3 grandchildren Justin, Bradley and Marcus and several nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters Theresa Ashley of Ontario, Mildred Bernard of Summerside, Rita Gallant and Elwood Gallant of Ontario and Elmer ( Theresa ) Moser of Summerside. Besides his parents, Robert was predeceased by his sister Doris Moser, brother Russell Gallant, nephew Barry Gallant and nieces Linda and Lisa Gallant. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Wednesday, September 25th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Robert's memory to the Wedgewood Manor Fund or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
