Obituary of Gingras, Richard
The death occurred surrounded by his family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday September 29th , 2013 of Richard Gingras of Blue Shank Road and formerly of Alberta, aged 71 years. Richard was born on May 4th, 1942 in LaTuque, Quebec to his late parents Arthur and Fedelia ( nee Bouchard ) Gingras.
Beloved husband of Cheryl ( nee McKenna ) Gingras and loving father of Richard Jr. ( Sherri ) of Edmonton, AB. Kristina Gingras of Blue Shank Road and numerous brothers and sisters in-law. Also lovingly remembered by his two grandchildren Drew and Ryan Gingras and several nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers Mario and Georges of Montreal, QC., sister Danielle Gingras ( Yves LaCroix ) and family of Trois Riviere, QC. and fur babies Rascal, Molly, Jack and Trixie.
Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother Jacques and special friend Bayleigh.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Richard's memory to the P.E.I. Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
