Obituary of Kendall, Edwin "Stan"
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, October 25th , 2013 of Edwin " Stanley" Kendall of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Newfoundland, aged 69 years. Stan was born on June 19th, 1944 on Ramea Island, NFLD. to his parents Margaret Skinner (nee Kendall ) and the late Dorcie Kendall.
Beloved husband of Joyce ( Degan ) Kendall and loving father of Theressa Kendall ( Jamie Willson ) of Ontario, Walter ( Misty MacDonald ) of Ontario, Lori Burnell, Angie ( Jason ) Blacquiere all of Summerside and Amanda ( Mike ) Garuk of Ontario. Also lovingly remembered by his 7 grandchildren: Nathan, Matthew, Dakota, Kendall, Eric, Haley, Lincoln and several nieces and nephews.
Survived by his sister Linda ( Denis ) Chislett of Ontario.
Besides his father, Stan was predeceased by his brothers Wesley and Walter.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, October 29th , for a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations in Stan's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Members of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 9 Kensington will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home on Tuesday at 12:45 p.m. A celebration of Stan's Life will be held at the Kensington Legion following the funeral service.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
