Obituary of MacLean, Eva Beatrice
The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, November 4th , 2013 of Eva Beatrice MacLean ( nee Boulter ) of Summerside and formerly of Mill River, P.E.I., aged 84 years. Eva was born on October 11th , 1929 in Milburn, P.E.I. to her late parents Guy and Mabel ( nee Hardy ) Boulter.
Beloved wife of the late Calvin MacLean and loving mother of Leigh ( Marian ), Shelton ( Vivian ), Harold, Terry ( Cathy ) and Jim ( Doreen ). Also lovingly remembered by her 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Besides her parents and husband, Eva was predeceased by her companion Hank Gallant and her sisters Evelyn ( Harold ) Stewart, Marion ( Guy ) Hart and Gladys Boulter.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, November 7th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 p.m.. Interment to take place in the Brae United Church Cemetery. Memorial donations in Eva's memory to the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening only , 7 - 9 p.m..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
