Obituary of Perry, Vincent Herman
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside , P.E.I. on Wednesday, December 25th, 2013 of Vincent (Papa) Herman Perry of Andrew's Lodge , Summerside , aged 95 years. Vincent (Papa) was born on November 21st,1918 in St.Nicolas, P.E.I. to his late parents John and Zelia (nee Gaudet ) Perry.
Beloved husband of the late Adelene ( nee Wedge ) Perry and loving father of John ( Nancy Cole ), Eleanor " Ellen" (George ) Cameron, Greg ( Barb ), Karen and Susan Perry all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by 5 grandchildren Troy Cameron, Shawn and Shane ( NerNer ) Arsenault, Vanessa and Matthew Perry , 3 great grandchildren Shandi Cameron, Meagan and Jenna Arsenault and several nieces and nephews. Survived by the following sister Corina ( Elmer ) and sister in-law Louise Wedge.
Besides his parents and wife, Vincent was predeceased by his brothers Harold, John Joe, Edward, Lawrence ( Jean ) and Wilfred ( Marie ), sisters Ethel Perry, Liza( Maurice ) Darte, Beatrice ( Edward ) Gaudet and Adeline ( Ben ) Arsenault.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, December 30th, for a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. . Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorial donation's in Vincent (Papa) memory to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, George R. Pearkes, Branch # 5, Summerside will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home on Monday afternoon at 12:30 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
