Obituary of Arsenault, Joseph "Luc"
The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I. on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021 of Joseph "Luc" Arsenault of Charlottetown and formerly of Falls Church, VA, aged 60 years. Luc was born in Wellington, P.E.I. to the late Cedric and Gilberte Arsenault.
Survived by his loving daughter Rianna Arsenault, Amanda and Samantha Rolander, her mother Laura Arsenault of Falls Church, VA; his constant companion Sheeka; his siblings ; Marty Arsenault (Marilyn Wilson) of Kelowna, B.C., Nicole Hickey of Dartmouth, N.S., Marie-Colette Arsenault of Slemon Park, Jean-Guy Arsenault of Alberta, Rheal (Debbie) Arsenault of St. Eleanors, Gilles Arsenault (Barb LaRue) of North York, ON., Ginette Fitzgerald of Slemon Park and Daniel Arsenault of Miscouche. Also lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Besides his parents, Luc was predeceased by his brothers Marc and Jean-Marc and brothers-in-law Gord Mantle, Ron Pineau, and Rick Fitzgerald.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside. A private family service will be held at a later date.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
