Obituary of Perry, Joseph "Gary" Oscar
It is with great sadness that we announce the death on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 of Joseph "Gary" Oscar Perry of Summerside, P.E.I. aged 73 years. Gary was born in Summerside to the late Isadore and Leona (Arsenault) Perry.
Survived by his brother Clair (Regina), sister Nancy (Stan) Bailey, special nieces and nephews Catherine (Jordan) MacPhee, Laura Bailey, Mark (Patti) Perry, Jason Perry and Matthew (Sue) Perry, great nieces and nephews Rowan, Courtney, Landon and Sonia Perry, also numerous cousins.
Predeceased by his brother Richard Perry.
Gary was an avid sports fan and loved to play tennis, baseball and softball. Gary co-ordinated and taught lessons to children in the minor tennis program for the City of Summerside for many years. Family meant everything to Gary and we will treasure the memories we have of him.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside where a private funeral service will be held by invitation. Interment to take place at a later date in St. Paul's Church Cemetery. Memorial donations in Gary's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
