Obituary of Moore, Ross Benjamin
Ross Benjamin Moore passed away in his home Sunday 13 February 2022 after his third battle with cancer at the age of 83, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Yarmouth, NS, Ross now joins his daughter Tammy and is survived by his wife Judy of 64 years of marriage, his son Craig (wife Suzanne) his Granddaughter Chelsea (husband Paddy), his Grandson Justin (wife Allison), Granddaughter Alexandra (partner Shane), and Great-Grandchildren Garreth and Tiernan.
He was an amazingly kind, hardworking, devoted and stubborn man who proudly served in the military for 35 years, starting as a sailor in the RCN and progressing through many ranks, eventually retiring as an Aerospace Engineer in the RCAF. Ross was always active, enjoying gardening, spending time with his family and was a beautiful craftsman if not much of a cook. He has touched so many and his love and memory will live on through them.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. The funeral mass will be live streamed on St. Paul's Parish Facebook page on Friday, February 18th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
