The death occurred peacefully at Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, PEI with family at her side, of Elizabeth Joan Palmer of Borden-Carleton, and formerly of Conway, aged 91 years, to her late parents, Clarence and Hazel (nee Smith) Ramsay. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Palmer of 74 years; now reunited. 

Survived by her children, Eleanor (Bob MacEachern), Deborah Palmer, David Palmer, Verna (Kenny Larkin), Roma (Peter Johns - deceased), Anna Pickering, and Robert Palmer. Elizabeth will be lovingly rememeberd by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as her sister, Barbara O'Halloran, and brother, George Ramsay.

Predeceased not only by her late parents and husband, but also by her daughter, Barbara Palmer, great-grandchild, Nathan Costain, as well as several siblings and in-laws. 

Elizabeth's primary goal in life was to love and care for her family. Elizabeth and her piano created memories for many as she played at many events since the age of 8 years old. She somehow made all the special occassions in life extra so, by her love to celebrate what was so important to her. All holidays and marked special days were meant to be celebrated. Her essence seemed to be " the more the merrier" for her gatherings were there to welcome as many as she could, ensuring she left no one out.  Christmas was made more magical with this being her most favorite time of year.  Another love was Old Home Week and how fitting it was she was with us to mark another one just gone by. 

The family would like to extend special thanks and acknowledgement to all the home care staff that allowed Elizabeth to remain at home as long as she could.  Appreciation is also given to Wedgewood Manor for the exceptional care received the last 8 months from all the compassionate staff.  Elizabeth has some near and dear friends that touched her life, and that know who you are. The family is ever grateful and will remember this with gratitude. 

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.  By personal request there will be no visitation, or funeral service. Interment to take place at a later date in Saint Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery, Foxley River, PEI.  Donations in  Elizabeth's memory to the Canadian Cancer Soceity or to the Saint Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
