The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PE, on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, of Maurice Joseph “Moe” Gallant of Summerside and formerly of Marathan, Ontario, aged 74 years.  Moe was born in Sudbury, Ontario to his late parents Jack and Albertine (Landry) Gallant.  Beloved husband of Lorelei Gallant (Yeo) and loving father of Dionna (Regan) Kenny, Pamela Gallant, Gary (deceased), Alexis (deceased in infancy) and Christopher (Naushin Virji).

Also lovingly remembered by grandchildren Garrett, Reese, Nina, Faiz, Zain and several nieces and nephews.

Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Carol, Micheline (Kevin), Linda (Paul) DesRoches, Pauline (Boyce), Paulette and father-in-law Dale Yeo.

Predeceased by mother-in-law Linda Yeo.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.  By personal request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
