The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, with family at his side, on Friday, August 14, 2026 of Michael "Dale" Savidant of Summerside, PE, aged 69 years. Beloved partner of Kyla MacKinnon; loving father to Chelsey(Horace), and special grampy to his grandchildren, Kalcean and Kingston.

Dale will be lovingly rememebered by his nieces and nephews, Carlene, Trevor, Tammy and Jacob.

He is survived by the following brothers and sisters; Irene (Carl) Delaney, Francis Savidant, Donna Albert and Roger Savidant. 

Dale will be missed by his special fur-babies; Gemma and Quinn, who will miss him dearly.   A special  mention to his best bud, "Hoss" for the greatest friendhship over many years. 

Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Alfreda Savidant. 

Dale could be best defined as happy-go-lucky in everyway.  He lived a life around music and ensured the quality of sound was enjoyed by many, through all the bands that he had great joy being a part of.   Dale was one that could be counted on, and could be called upon for help for anything.  He will be missed and remembered dearly by many. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you and their appreciation to Dr. Kelly, Dr. Holland, and all the nurses and staff on Medcial at Prince County Hospital for the compassionate care he received. 

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.  By persoanal request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in Dale's memory to PEI Cancer Society or to PEI Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
