The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on August 11th, 2026 of Francis "Frank" William Goodwin of Wellington Centre, aged 65 years. Frank was born in Halifax, NS to his father Doug and his late mother Arlene (nee Foley) Goodwin.

Beloved husband of Kim (nee McNeill) and proud father of Josh (Kimberley) and Kelsey (Tyler) Goodwin-Coughlin. Loving Grampy to Jax, Jed, Easton, Krew and baby girl Coughlin arriving in December. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law Shirley McNeill, uncles and aunts Claude (Lillian) Goodwin, Gary Goodwin, Bill (Bev) Foley,  Barbara (Brian) Thompson, sister and brother in laws Pam (Mike) Bernard, Karen (Wayne) MacDonald, Kathy Gallant, Jackie (Danny) MacDougall and Trevor (Carol) MacKinnon. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by his grandparents Robert & Mary Foley, and Mac & Mary Goodwin, uncles and aunts Eldon & Kay Goodwin, Gordon & Carol Goodwin, Heather Goodwin, Kay Foley, Bob & Peg Foley, Marie & Jim Rogerson, Doris & Ted Beer , father-in-law Romie McNeill and sister-in-law Sherry MacKinnon. 

Franks family would like to express their deep appreciation for Franks great group of friends; you know who you are! 

A special thank you to the many health care providers who supported and cared for Frank during the last three years.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday August 14th, 2026 where visiting hours will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held Saturday August 15th, 2026 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Wellington, interment to follow the service.

We encourage you all to take some time for a Sunday drive to honor Frank and enjoy the ride!
