The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PEI on Thursday, July 23, 2026, of Una Elizabeth Gallant (Luce) of Summerside, aged 94 years.

Una was born in Summerside to the late Charles and Anna Mae Luce (LeBlanc). Beloved wife of the late Frank Gallant and loving mother Gary (Margaret) Gallant, Betty Blanchard, Debbie Wedge, Darlene “Pumpkin” Blanchard (Paul Arsenault), Joan (Mike) Martin, Diana (Paul) Arsenault, June ~deceased (Kenny Gaudet), Wayne (Christine) Gallant, and Cathy (Vincent) Arsenault.

She was a beloved grandmother of 26 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her daughter Mary (infancy) and sons in-law Wayne Gallant, Roger Wedge and Reggie Blanchard.

Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. until Tuesday July 28, 2026 then to St. Paul's Church for a funeral service at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Una's memory can be made directly to Prince County Hospital Foundation. Visiting hours on Monday evening from 6 - 8 p.m.
