It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alvin “Al” McCarville of Summerside P.E.I on Sunday July 19th, 2026 in his 89th year.  Al was the beloved husband of Carol (Moyer).  Loving father to Mike, Cindy, Lori Wamboldt (Derek), Debbie Moyer, Darlene Murray (Carl Carson), Clint and Heather Cudmore (Lloyd).

Cherished grandfather to Christopher (Hope), Sarah, Clint (Brittany), Doug, Josh, Jarrett, Justin, Molly, Quinn, Tyler, Nolan, Katelyn and Keifer.  Great Grampie to Eli and Jack.

Al is survived by his brother Frank (Joan) and Elmer (Elaine).

Predeceased by his son Larry, father Earl, mother Helena (Croken) sisters Camilla (Howatt) ,Orvilline (Myers) and brother Vernon.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, then to St. Paul’s Church for a funeral mass Thursday, July 23rd, 2026 at 10:30 am.  Interment to follow at the church cemetery.

Visiting hours on Wednesday July 22nd, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
