The death occurred peacefully at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday July 13th 2026 of Roger Alfred "Rosco" Collette of Charlottetown and formerly of St. Hubert, aged 74 years.

Roger was the loving father of Jackie  and Pépé to Gabriel.

Survived by the following brothers and sisters: May (Doug) McBride of BC, Yvonne (Steve) Jackson of BC, Agnes “Maryellen” Rodino, Anne (Dean Brillinger) Collette of Miscouche, Bertha Collette of Cornwall, ON, and Aunt Anna Gallant of Summerside.

Roger will be dearly missed by the love of his life and soulmate Colleen Casey.

Predeceased by brothers Arthur, Gussie, Leonard, Charlie, Roger in infancy and sister Irene.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope road, until Friday July 17th, 2026 where visiting hours will be held from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.  Funeral service to immediately follow in the funeral home chapel.

Donations in Roger’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday July 18th, 2026, from 12:00-3:00 pm at the Trailside Music Hall in Charlottetown.
