Margaret Ann Sherren Obituary

The death occurred peacefully, at Prince County Hospital on Monday, June 22, 2026 of Margaret Ann Sherren (nee Cairns) of Summerside, aged 81 years.  Beloved wife of the late John Allison "Jim" Sherren of Borden-Carleton.  Loving mother to Michael (Sherri) Sherren, Karen (Boyd) Cornish, Nancy Sherren, and Douglas (Heidi) Sherren.  


Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by brother Frank (Bonnie-deceased) Cairns; and sister-in-law, and brother-in-law Brian (Nancy) Sherren.


Along with her parents, Margaret is also predeceased by her brother Raymond (Gail).


The family would like to extend appreciation and thanks to the wonderful staff at Andrews of Summerside, on Pope Road, and Prince County Hospital for the compassionate care received. 


Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Monday, June 29, 2026, for a visitation from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., with funeral service to follow in chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date.   Donations in Margaret's memory to the Cape Traverse United Church Cemetery Fund, or Summerside United Pentecostal Church would be greatly appreciated.
