The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PEI, on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026 of Wilfred Glen MacArthur of Traveller Rest, PEI, aged 86.  Wilfred was born in Enmore, PEI to the late James and Olive (Shaw) MacArthur. Beloved husband of Gloria (Shaw) MacArthur and loving father to Dana (Bonnie) MacArthur and Grant (Roxanne) MacArthur.

Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Korey (Sarah), Tyson, Shane (Alanna), Sasha (Micah), Brock (Alyia), great grandchildren Jaydan, Jazzy, Hunter, Jireh and Koby and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his siblings Stanley, Hughie, George, Lily and Garfield.

Wilfred along with his wife Gloria owned and operated Riverview Antiques for the passed 40 years.  

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, June 20, 2026 then to the Summerside United Pentecostal Church for a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the Pentecostal Cemetery. Donations in Wilfred’s memory can be made directly to the Pentecostal Cemetery, Brooklyn, PEI. Visiting hours on Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m.
