The death occurred suddenly, surrounded by her loving family at the Moncton City Hospital, NB on Thursday June 11, 2026 of Maxine Paynter (Martin) of Summerside, PEI, aged 62 years. Maxine was born in Summerside to the late Clifford and Rita (Arsenault) Martin.

Beloved wife of the late Andy Paynter and loving mother of Devin and Riley Paynter (Jillian O'Brien).

Survived by her brother Chris (Lisa) Martin, the MaKenna siblings, partner Larry and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sister Jackie and nephew Todd.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, June 19, 2026 where a Celebration of her Life will be held in the funeral home chapel from 2:00 p.m. Bring along your instruments and join the family for a time of music and memories in Maxine's Memory.
