The death occurred peacefully at the O’Leary Community Hospital on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026 of David Russell Wells of Tyne Valley, PEI aged 100.  David was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to his late parents Stanley and Esther (Olmstead) Wells.  Beloved husband of Anita (Arsenault) Wells and loving father to Elaine (Don Henderson), Stanley Wells, Shirley Wells and David (Maria) Wells.

Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Sarah (Dustin), Brent (Tammy), Kristen, Taylor, Devin (Aaron), Justin, Stan (Khanh) and Kali (Chad) and  great-grandchildren Beckett, Hattie, Etta, Aria, Dax, Millie, Harvey, Sophia, Charles, Rosemary, John  and many nieces and nephews who thought the world of him.

Survived by his sister Mary Hardy.

Predeceased by his sister Charlotte, brother Charles, brothers-in-law Wendell Hardy and Gordon Warnholtz and sister-in-law Vivian.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.  By personal request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
