The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital with family at his side, of Robert Albert Geiss, of Summerside, PEI, aged 61 years.  Robert was born in Ontario to his late parents, Albert and Marion Geiss. Beloved husband of Marjorie (nee Ferrish) of 31 wonderful years, and loving step-father to Alan Henderson of Ottawa, Ontario. 

Robert is survived by the following brothers, Rick (Huijan) Geiss and Ronald Geiss; both of Ontario.  He is also survived by brothers-in-laws, and sisters-in-laws; Eric (Dianne) Ferrish, Darlene (Shane) Ross, Berla Ferrish, Christine Ferrish, and Lipton Spense. 

Along with his parents, Robert is predeceased by his parents-in-law, Percy and Bessie Ferrish, and brothers-in-laws, Eldon Ferrish, Gordon Ferrish, and sisters-in-law, Joyce Spense.

Robert will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and special "fur-baby" Peanut.  

A special mention to all his fellow bus drivers, and to all the children that brought a lifetime of joy to Robert in his career as a bus driver.

Special thanks and appreciation go out to all the staff in the Emergency Department and ICU at PCH for the exceptional and compassionate care received by Robert and his family.  The family also wishes to extend grateful appreciation to the wonderful support of family, friends and neighbours at this difficult time.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.  By personal request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A Celebration of Life service as well as interment will take place at a later time.
