Gary Emmett Kelly Obituary

The death occurred peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PE, on May 23rd, 2026, of Gary Kelly.


Gary was born on March 21st, 1967, to Emmett (deceased) and Marion (Doucette) Kelly.


He is survived by his devoted wife Sandra (nee Gallant), stepdaughter Sarah (Alex Holland), stepson Dylan, brothers and sisters Eugene (Louise), Cheryl (David MacDonald), Patrick (Janet), Paul (Pam), Pam (Scott Cousins), sister-in-law Noella, mother and father-in-law Andrew and Jean Gallant, and brother-in-law Jeff (Kerry Lynn) Gallant.


Predeceased by his brother Danny.


Also survived by nieces and nephews Michelle, Jamie, Lisa, Craig, Brady, Marlee, Nicole, Jill, Tyler, Lindsay, Matthew, Taylor, Brittany, Colin, Adam, Alienna, Jonah and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.


Gary was a loyal friend to many.  He was well known for his boisterous voice and ability to command a laugh with his funny jokes and stories.  If anyone ever needed a helping hand, Gary would be the first to extend his.


The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Scott Cameron, Dr. Jonathan Sharpe along with the staff of the Emergency Dept and Medical floor for their excellent care and attention given/shown to Gary’s family.


Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, PE until Thursday, May 28th, 2026, for a funeral mass at St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, PE at 10:30 a.m.  Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery.  Visiting hours on Wednesday evening from 4-7 p.m.
