The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital with family by her side, on May 23, 2026, of Margaret Rose Squires of Summerside, PEI, aged 81 years; Margaret was born in Summerside, PE to her late parents, Irving and Gertrude Casey.  Margaret was the beloved wife of Fraser Squires, of 41 years; and loving mother to Irene (Joe) Egerszegi, Carol (David) Gaudet and Christine (Wayne) Wilcox. 

Margaret will also be lovingly remembered by her seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. 

Margaret is survived by her brothers and sisters, Helen, Barbara, Joe, Gail, Maxine, Stanley, Kim, and Karen.  

Besides her late parents, Margaret is also predeceased by her brother Mark. 

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.  By personal request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Interment to take place at a late date. 

Donations in Margaret's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
