The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PE, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, of Brian Andrew Nash of Middleton, PE, and formerly of Halifax, NS, aged 55 years.

Beloved husband of Michelle (Weagle) Nash and loving father of Sebastian (Janeise Benoit) and Emma of Calgary.

Survived by his mother Charlene (Anderson) Nash, his brother Brad (Catherine); niece Allison; nephew Jacob; mother- and father-in-law Don and Janice Weagle; sister-in-law Beth (Todd House); niece Rebecca, nephew Nicholas and brother-in-law Michael Weagle.

Predeceased by his father Vernon Nash, grandparents Andrew and Charlotte Anderson and Edmund and Alice Nash.

During his time in Ottawa as a teenager, Brian developed a deep interest in politics that lasted throughout his life. He loved history and genealogy, and in recent years he was especially happy to begin a business helping others discover their ancestral roots.

Brian loved his years being involved with Judo PEI and deeply valued the special father-son bond it fostered between him and Sebastian. Brian and Michelle were also greatly blessed through the love, fellowship, and support of the three church families they were part of throughout their married life.

Born into a military family in Quebec, Brian’s life of travel and adventure began early. Shortly after his birth, he was transferred for the first time and then regularly after that to many military bases across Canada. When asked where he grew up, Brian would often smile and simply say, “Canada,” having lived from east to west throughout his childhood years. Brian has now been transferred to Heaven to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, PE, until Friday, May 8, 2026, then to Desable Free Church of Scotland, Desable, PE, for a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place following the service in the Cape Traverse Free Church of Scotland Cemetery. By personal request, there will be no visitation.

For those in Nova Scotia, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bedford Presbyterian Church, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
