The death occurred on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 of Erma Jeanetta Palmer (nee Paugh) of Andrews of Summerside, formerly of Borden-Carleton, PE.  Beloved wife of the late Charles Palmer (2025).

Erma was born in MacNeil's Mills, PE.  Daughter of the late Leigh and Velma (Lidstone) Paugh.

Survived by her children, Stephen (Soraya) Palmer and Velma (Chuck, deceased) Rogers.

Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Candice Rogers, Jonathan (Estee) Palmer and  Hannah (Jonah) Palmer and great-grandchildren Ada and Everly Palmer.

Survived by her siblings, Martha Watson, Eleanor (Edwin) MacNevin, and Ron (Hazel) Paugh, and many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sisters, Etta  Seisrotis, Myrtle Arsenault, Lois Arsenault, and brothers Urban Paugh and Art Paugh.

Erma was a nannie caregiver to numerous children over the years, a telephone operator with Island Telephone and a cafeteria worker at the Marine Atlantic Terminal.

Family wants to say thank you to Andrews of Parkhill for the care she received over the 5 years she resided there.  Also, thanks to Andrews of Summerside for the wonderful care she received over the 6 weeks she lived there.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside.  No service or visitation by personal request.  Interment to take place at a later date.
