Ann Doris Kinch Obituary
The death occurred peacefully of Dorris "Annie" Kinch (née Mackenzie), wife of the late Benedict "Benny" Kinch, at Summerset Manor on the morning of May 3, 2026, aged 75 years. Born in Charlottetown, she was the daughter of the late John Mackenzie and Hannah Jackman.
Annie was the mother of Marvin (Robbyn Troup), Keith (Bobbi), Dawn, and Michael Kinch.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Alexis (Jake) McNeil, Alyssa Blacquiere, Autumn Lentz, Cloë Troup, Cody Lambert, Jayden Kinch, Jenessa (Leo) Kinch, Kayle (Lenore) Troup, Kris Campbell, Nathaniel Kinch, Satori Kinch, Terrance Kinch, Wesley Lambert, and Wyatt Kinch; as well as her great-grandchildren: Evelina, Marshall, Rose, Sam, and Scarlett.
She leaves behind her sister Paulette (Jozsef) Halupa, her brothers Art (Dianne) Mackenzie and Wilfred (Denise) Mackenzie, and special niece Sandra Gallagher. Annie was predeceased by her sisters, Ruth Gallagher and Ada Mackenzie; and her brothers, George, Roy, Percy, and Morley.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours. A funeral service will be held at the Summerside United Pentecostal Church at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, it was Annie's wish that memorial donations be made to her church, the Summerside United Pentecostal Church.
