Kathy, Kim, Jonathan and family. Our hearts are heavy for the entire Becker family. We loved Dave. Another dad to all of us on Victoria street for many years. So many laughs. Kathy I am in total shock. I enjoyed getting to know Dave better when I spent the week with you guys. Loved his bean salad and Dave made the best pork chops that I ever had.

We knew him for such a brief time. He told my husband the reason houses on PEI were painted certain colors. He spent the winter redoing his AZ home. We will miss seeing him. Wishing his family the best as each one adjusts to his absence.

Dave's smirk, like he knew a great joke ... or maybe he was laughing along with something we were saying, is one of my fondest thoughts of him. In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville.
