The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PE, on Sunday, April 19th, 2026 of Joyce Ann Moore of Summerside and formerly of Grand River, PEI., aged 66 years. Joyce was born in Summerside to her loving late parents Mary and Denzil Moore. Loving mother of Blain Ford (Jenna) and Jedd Moore (Aoife) and loving grandmother to Wyatt Ford and soon to be baby granddaughter Moore, also lovingly remembered by her siblings Lorna (Melvin) Arsenault, Roger Moore, Bob (Anne-Marie) Moore, Wade (Angele) Moore, Joanne (Darryl) Power and special Aunt Irma Moore.

Survived by nieces and nephews; Jason, Tyler, Justyn, Mary-Francis, Haylie, Jenna, Marcus, grand nieces and nephews Zackery, Oaklyn, Rae and Sage.

Predeceased by her nephew Dwayne Arsenault who she loved so much.

Joyce lived up to her name, spreading joy to everyone she knew. She loved to entertain family and friends, whether it was games night, chick flix, brunch, cocktail night, or Christmas Eve - she was always planning a get-together. She loved to cook and was known far and wide for her homemade bread and rolls, fudge, strawberry and coconut cream pies, carrot cakes, sticky toffee pudding and Christmas sweets - everyone looked forward to receiving a treat from Joyce! She loved to be on the move too - road trips on PEI, bus tours, weekends away, cruises, and trips with family and friends - she covered a lot of territory! Her sense of humour will be remembered as torturous, good spirited, and perhaps a bit inappropriate by times. The primary focus of her life was always her two boys - who are now fine young men. She loved her special grandson Wyatt and was excited to meet her first granddaughter arriving this Summer. She will be missed by a wide variety of friends and acquaintances, family and neighbors - we are so thankful to have you in our lives - you are one of a kind Joycie!

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Following her wishes, there will be no funeral service or visiting hours. A Celebration of Life will held at the Oval,  511 Notre Dame St. Summerside on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 2 - 5 p.m.  All are welcome to attend.  Donations in Joyce's memory can be made directly to the East Prince Palliative Home Care.
