The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, March 28th, 2026 of James “Jim” Wentworth of Summerside, and formerly of Ancaster, ON., aged 81 years. Jim was born in Owen Sound, ON, to the late James and Marjorie Wentworth.

Special friend to Linda Black and father of James “Jim” (Darlene), Michael (Stacey) and Amanda, grandfather to Olivia, Victoria, Grason and Kaylee.

Survived by his sister Diane (Robert) Service.

Predeceased by his brothers; David and Ronald Wentworth.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, then to East Prince Funeral Home Chapel for a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours held.
