The death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, Charlottetown, PE on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 of Susanne Louise Smith (Eppes) of Charlottetown, PE and formerly of Emerald, PE, aged 83 years.  Susanne was born in Toronto, Ontario to her late parents John and Margaret Eppes.  Beloved wife of the late Willis Smith and loving mother of Lisa (Willis) Doiron, Sandra (Cory) Callbeck, Christine (David) Caissie, Stephen (April) Smith and Bill (Sylvie).

Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Maddy, Maya, Olivia, Hannah, Katie, Becky, Josh, Emily, Willis, great-grandchildren Nikolas, Leaman, Jakob, Ariadne, Noah, and Oliver.

Survived by her sister Elizabeth Berry and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her brothers:  Doug Eppes, Richard Eppes and Robin Eppes.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.  There will be visiting hours on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Susanne’s memory can be made directly to the  PEI Humane Society or  Mental Health and Addictions.
