The death occurred peacefully, on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Clinton View Lodge of Irene Menzies (Gallant), aged 89 years. Irene was born in Summerside to her late parents, Emmanuel and Elizabeth Gallant. Beloved wife of the late Marven Menzies and loving mother of Kevin and Roxanne, and her late daughter, Natalie Menzies. 

Also lovingly remembered by her granddaughter, Laura Apblett. 

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.  Funeral mass to be decided at a later date. 

Interment to take place at a later date in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche.
