The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, February 27th, 2026 of Arnold Muttart of Summerside, aged 84 years.  Arnold was born in Summerside to the late Reid and Florence (Perry) Muttart.

Beloved husband of the late Diane Muttart (nee MacAusland) and loving father of Les (Mona) Muttart and Kathy (Ron) Enman. Also lovingly remembered by his 6 grandchildren Sheila -May, Miranda, Megan, Emily, Matthew and Samantha and his 7 great - grandchildren Henry, Anna, Lewis, Gus, Abigail, Ellie and Amir.

Survived by his brother Blaine "Turk" Muttart, brother in-law Dougie (Debbie) MacAusland, sister in-law Marie MacAusland and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brothers and sister Wayne (Diane) Muttart, Whitmore (Peggy) Muttart, Heather Rooney, Perry (Patricia) Mailman and his brother-in-law Donnie MacAusland.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 am. Interment to take place in People’s Cemetery, Summerside at a later date. Memorial donations in Arnold’s memory can be made directly to Diabetes Canada or the charity of your choice. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
