The death occurred suddenly in Summerside, PEI, at the Prince County Hospital, on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, of Grace McPhee of Summerside, PE, age 62 years. Grace was born in O’Leary, PEI  to her late mother  Pearle Smith. 

 Survived by husband Barry, son Matthew (Hailey) Smith, daughter Katlin Smith, brothers Arnold (Gloria) Smith and Henry (Marilyn) Smith, sisters Ruby Lowther, Darlene (Martin) Arsenault, Esther (Steve) Ghaney as well as her grandsons Koby and Vincent. 

Predeceased by her mother Pearle Smith, brother Wendell Smith and sister Eleanor.

Grace always seemed to know how to make people laugh and smile in any situation. She enjoyed Halloween, game nights, and time with family. She looked forward to Saturday morning drives to yard sales. She loved her grandchildren with every fibre of her being, as she is  Nanny McPhee. 

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, PE, until Thursday, March 5th, 2026, where a wake will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.,  followed by a gathering at the Linkletter Community Center from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Burial to take place at a later date,
