Funeral service for Micah will be held on Thursday, March 5th, 2026 in the East Prince Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m.

Micah Christopher Penney, age 52, of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, passed away on February 22, 2026.

Micah was a passionate and creative spirit who found great joy in music, particularly in playing the electric guitar. His love for the outdoors was reflected in his enthusiasm for cycling, camping, hiking and going to the family cottage in Seaview PEI. These pursuits brought him peace, adventure, and a deep appreciation for nature.

He is lovingly survived by his parents, Leslie and Judy Penney; his siblings, Ian (Tanya), Dane, and Sarah-Rose; his grandmother, Thalda Gallant; his nieces, Shaelyn and Kelsie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Frederick Gallant and paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Isaac Penney.

Micah will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on through the music he loved, the trails he explored, and the lasting impact he made in the hearts of those closest to him.
