I'll never forgot going to pei with our whole band crew and I had a mix tape playing and it played some rock songs. Micah was surprised because he thought I only listened to dance music even though I was dating a band guy lol after that we must have talked about music for over an hour drinking beer. It's one of my favourite memories of that trip and I'll never forget it and it's been over 20 years. I'm so sorry to hear this. My love and prayers go to his family I'm so sorry for your loss

Micah is one of the very first faces I can remember from my own childhood. He wouldn't let me walk more than 5-6 steps without grabbing my hand when I was just a toddler. I remember his smile as I looked up to him with each visit. I remember my best friend Dane and I listening to him play music from his room. I wish we remained connected but will cherish his smile in my deepest memories. Got you all tucked tightly in my heart while you navigate the tides of grief, Aunt Judy, Uncle Les, Ian, Dane, and Sarah-Rose and others.

Micah was a fixture in my home as a young teenager. He hung out with my son and as with all the kids was a welcome fixture at Pacific Avenue. Quieter than most of the gang and later years after, I met him at Sobeys and got a hug. We were both pretty happy for the encounter. Rest easy sweet boy. You were well liked and the gang will never forget you.

My condolences to Micah's family. I worked with Micah at a couple Sobeys stores over the years, starting at Cole Harbor night crew. I enjoyed working with him and his dry sense of humor. Rest in Peace Micah.

I could tell stories for days about my memories with Micah. We were friends since our early twenties when we worked night shift together. Oh the times we had, the jokes we made. They will live forever with me and I continue to tell them to this day.
One of my favourite Micah moments was when we were having our performance reviews at Sobeys as young lads. He came down from the office and said the manager told him to get out. I asked him what happened and so he said to me with his usual stern, dry demeanour, "he asked me what I want to do with the rest of my life. I just looked at him and said... I wanna rock". Even Micah laughed at himself that day.
Although we grew apart later in our lives, I was very grateful to have the opportunity to visit him and catch up a bit last year thanks to Hamish.
Forever my brother. Will miss you MCP.

So sorry to hear of Micah's passing, he was a quiet and shy person who was in a lot of pain that I can't even begin to imagine. RIP Micah

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
