The death occurred peacefully with his husband, daughter and family by his side, at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PE on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026 of John Clifford Simms of Summerside and formerly of Toronto, Ontario, aged 75 years.

John was born in Cornerbrook, NFLD to his late parents James and Rita (Everleigh) Simms.   Beloved husband of Robert Snow and loving father of Cindy (Paul) MacLean.

Also lovingly remembered by his grandson Seth and several nieces and nephews.

Survived by the following brothers and sisters:  Bob (Julia) Simms, Jennifer Simms, mother-in-law Mary Snow, brothers and sisters-in-law Debbie (Vincent) Gallant, Boyd (Joyce) Snow, Wade (Karen) Snow, Dwayne (Tracy) Snow.

Predeceased by his brother-in-law David Snow, father-in-law Leonard Snow and niece Serenity Snow.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, February 23rd, 2026, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m.  Visiting hours on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Interment to take place in Westmoreland Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
