John may have been my first cousin, but he was so much more than another branch on our family tree. He was a true friend—someone whose laughter came easily, especially when a good joke set him off into one of hisunforgettable fits of joy. He carried himself with humility, never seeking praise, and lived with a generosity that made everyone feel welcome. His home, and his heart, were always open without exception.
The love and commitment shared by John and Robert was both remarkable and deeply inspiring. Together they faced life’s challenges—especially those of illness and declining health—with courage, tenderness, and unwavering devotion. Robert stood faithfully by John’s side, offering strength, comfort, and support in every way possible.
John will be missed beyond measure, but he will never be forgotten. His kindness, his gentle spirit, and his loving soul will live on in the memories of all who were blessed to know him

John loved to joke. He loved to make people laugh. I remember many years ago when I was just a little girl, John came to Pacquet where I grew up. We went swimming at the park. John walked out in the water. He walked too far out and the water went over his head. He couldn’t swim and he panicked. Me and a few others went out to pull him in. He was panicking so much he almost drowned us too.finally we got him in far enough where his feet could touch bottom. Going to miss calling him. I’m glad he accepted Jesus as his saviour and he is now in his heavenly home.until we meet again cuz.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
