Our deepest condolences to Kevin’s dear family. We are so sad to be reading this. What a great loss of a beautiful person. I remember when he was the bus driver for swimming lessons 25 plus years ago & he would pick our two oldest girls up & he was so good to them & he’d always get them to sit on the seat behind him, where he could lovingly keep an eye on them & he’d tell me how they’d fall asleep during the commute home. He was so grandfatherly to them & they loved him for his sweet demeanour! He left a wonderful legacy behind. He will be sadly missed. Sending much love during this most difficult time.

Kevin was such a welcoming friend. Frank and I spent many hours in Calgary listening to Kevin’s entertaining stories . I remember one particular meal at Jean and Kevin’s when Kevin, who was so absorbed in his stories, wasn’t eating much. Eventually, he noticed that we had already finished eating. He laughed, looked at his full plate, said that he better stop talking and catch up to us. He had the best smile and laugh. He will always be one of our favourite people and we were blessed to know him.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
