The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, with her friends and family by her side, on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, of Dawn Marie Smith, aged 50 years.

Predeceased by her mother, Susan Power; her stepfather, Daniel Power; and her stepbrother, Stephen Power.

Dawn is lovingly remembered by her close friend, Richard Palmer.

Survived by her children Stephen (Samantha), Myles (Carlie), Toby, and Tyra. She will also be dearly remembered by her grandchildren Payton, Enzo, Ella, Cali, Elon, Evie, Egan, and soon‑to‑arrive baby Wes and her five nieces and nephews.

Dawn is also remembered by her brothers Chris (Heather) Smith and Martin (Kelly) Power.

Her kindness, strength, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Summerside, PEI. By personal request, there will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Donations in Dawn's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
