The death occurred peacefully surrounded by love at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, February 13th, 2026 of Dolly DesRoches (Gallant) of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 83 years. Dolly was born in Piusville, PEI, to the late Jerry and Margaret Gallant.

Beloved wife of the late Lawrence DesRoches and loving mother of Arthur (Jill), Roger (Karen), Kathy, Karen (Brian), and chosen daughter, her niece Helen. Also mourning her loss are her grandchildren; Margaret-Ann, Nicole, Corey, Cynthia, Josh, Chantal, Daniel, Nate and Alan, as well as many great grandchildren, her special friend Albert, and many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Ferdie, Dorothy, Roger, Junior, Sylvere and Stella. 

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, February 18th, 2026, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in People's Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Dolly's memory may be made directly to the Summerside Salvation Army. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 p.m.
