The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 of Arthur "Dart" Gerrard of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 83 years. Arthur was born in Sheet Harbour, NS, to the late Louis and Mae (Barron) Gerrard.

Beloved husband of Doris (Arsenault) Gerrard.  Survived by his grandson Jackson, sisters Barb Henneberry and Bernice (Bill) Parsons, brother Bill (Bernice) Gerrard, his fur baby Babes, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his son David Gerrard, brothers Wayne, Jack, and Louis Jr., and his sister Judy.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held.  Memorial donations in Arthur's memory may be made directly to the PEI Humane Society.
