The death occurred peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, February 5th, 2026 of Corinne Yvonne Gaudet (Arsenault) of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 91 years. Corinne was born in St. Gilbert, P.E.I. to the late Fidele and Catherine “Kate” Arsenault (Maddix).

Beloved wife of the late Benoit "Ben" Gaudet and loving mother of Michael (Patricia), Victoria BC, Darlene, Belmont, Cathy, Summerside, Douglas, Victoria, BC. and Gregory (Heather), Amherst, NS. Also mourning her loss are her grandchildren Christopher (Loren), Kathleen (Andrew), Liam, Ethan (Elizabeth) and Ellen as well as her great grandchildren August, Gwendolyn and Isaac.

Survived by her sister Rose, brother Ernest (Judy), sisters-in-law Pat and Huguette as well as many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Alma (Joe) Cormier, Tony, Rita (Alphonse) Gallant, Thelma (Gustave) Gallant, Louise (infancy), Louise (Frank) Hammond, Abel, Cécile and Bobby, brothers-in-law: Peter Arsenault, and Leo Pineault.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, February 10th, 2026, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place in Notre Dame du Mont-Carmel Cemetery, Mont-Carmel at a later date. Memorial donations in Corinne's memory may be made directly to the charity of your choice. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours held.
